The top instrument was found in a field (HMMF 23A). We think it had been "run over" several times before that. It was missing 2 finger buttons and was about 1 1/2 inches shorter than its original length because of the damage. The "before" picture really doesn't do it justice.
The second picture is HMMF 11E. It was missing a ferrule, a key saddle, and 2 levers. It is a great player now.
