During the years of his presidency, Abraham Lincoln maintained a few interests which helped him weather the storm of war. One of them was his love of music. This recording presents the music heard by President Lincoln during those trying times, beginning with his arrival in Washington and ending with the selections played as he announced the end of the great war. Historic photographs and descriptive commentary are included.
