Civil War Military Band Music

Volume 2

Greenfield Village

This is the second in a series of recordings by the 1st Brigade Band, which at this writing(1971) is the world's only original Civil War period military band.  In their continuing effort to place before the public the true look and sound of this rare and unusual facet of Civil War history, the band presents a tasteful group of selections from Volume One of the band books of the Regimental Band, 3rd New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry, and one number from the Brass Band Journal of 1854.
