Become a Friend of the 1st Brigade Band

For over forty years, the 1st Brigade Band has been making history live for Americans across the nation. We have "FRIENDS" all the way from Alaska to Florida, Hawaii to New York. We hope you enjoy and appreciate the unique and entertaining portrayal of our American heritage. Please consider adding Heritage Military Music Foundation to the list of worthwhile organizations you support by enlisting in the FRIENDS today.

While some revenue comes from performance sponsors and record sales, only through the generosity of people like you can the band continue to "Make History Live" for you. HMMF is designated as a 501(C)3 organization by the IRS so your donations are tax deductible. The band members themselves are and always have been volunteers.

What do our FRIENDS Accomplish?
FRIENDS have provided almost $20,000 in the past 3 years to support the 1st Brigade Band!
These gifts allowed the Band to:

• Acquire and restore old instruments to speak with a new voice
• Dress in the "Tradition of Excellence" by replacing worn uniforms
• Retire the mortgage on Heritage Hall early
• Reach new audiences as we "Make History Live"
• "Keep the Music Playing" by replacing stolen sound equipment

The names of all FRIENDS who enlist this year will be listed in next year's program book, along with their rank. Below, you can see a picture of our "under construction" wall of contributors at Heritage Hall. We have a "Circle of Support", which will display Friends' donor names, and a "Circle of Service", which will display members' years of service to HMMF. Plaques and medallions will be engraved wood and brass.

Enlistment rank is determined as follows:

FRIENDS who donate $50 or more may request a Thank-You Gift of one Cassette, LP or CD recording, or a T-shirt. For donations of $200 or more, one may choose an additional gift of a 1st Brigade Band sweatshirt. Please select one or two gifts, as indicated above, from the list on the Friends form, which may be printed and filled out.
